ScionHealth is recruiting for a Project Manager, Clinical Operations, to join our team!  This is a remote role.  

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing small to medium projects (typically less than 160 to 1040 hours of effect, with a likely dollar of under $50,000 to $100,00). Includes single LOB of multiple LOBs that are assigned to ScionHealth IS/IT.Utilizes ScionHealth’s Project Management best practices, procedures, and standard methodologies to ensure all assigned projects deliver quality and cost-effective anticipated results.Continuously solicits feedback from Senior Project Managers, supervisors, and project team members.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares detailed project charters and corresponding plans, leads project team meetings.
  • Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Leads post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, document successes and challenges, and provide recommendations for future projects.
  • Manages the project team, setting clear expectations and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Reviews project plans on a weekly basis, prepares and submits weekly status reports, monitors project deliverables and communicates to senior management any issues that may impact the team’s delivery.
  • Leads and organizes tasks to be carried out as part of analysis and development and ensures they are completed within project timelines.
  • Partners with various internal resources to provide ongoing troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Manages program budgets and reports on results to Senior Management or Senior Project Manager.
  • Collaborates with project teams and various internal stakeholder groups on an ongoing basis to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Works with project team to identify and assess project risks and mitigation strategies.Takes a disciplined approach to managing project issues and risks.
  • Manages multiple small to medium simultaneous projects using ScionHealth best practices and methodologies to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Prepares and conducts formal presentations concerning major projects.
  • Responsible for relationship management with key business sponsors and provides leadership on complex projects.
  • Solicits feedback and guidance of Scionhealth I/S methodologies, tools and best practices from Senior Project Managers, senior team members and supervisor.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years project management experience, in an information systems setting.
  • Two plus years of experience in Information Technology or technical project management.
  • Experience with applications and tools that support project management tracking and reporting.
  • Preference for candidates with experience with MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and projects with supervision.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively manage timelines and budgets to ensure delivery of project objectives.
  • Previous experience in developing detailed project plans using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and judgement skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a past paced, challenging and constantly changing work environment.
  • Approximate percentage of time required to travel: 10%
  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Must have good and regular attendance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Depending on a candidate's qualifications, this role may be filled at a different level.
