The Cath Lab Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in a sterile environment, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, radiation protection, and quality care. This role supports physicians by scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and documenting during procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), electrophysiology studies, and vascular interventions. The technologist assists with equipment setup, maintenance, and inventory while ensuring compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.

Required SkillsExperience:

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (Required). 3 or more years preferred for advanced proficiency

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology (Preferred)

• ARRT, RCIS, CVT, NREMT, AEMT, or CST (One required).
• BLS (Required upon hire).
• ACLS (Required within 6 months)

• Proficient in sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Skilled in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating roles.
• Ability to analyze hemodynamic data and troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments.
