Practice Coordinator

Coordinate the daily operations of a single or simple Physician Practice. Ensure the operations of the practice run smoothly, regular staff meetings are held between all departments and physicians, departmental policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to, and the budget is monitored. Oversee the retention of office and medical supplies, manage insurance and patient aging sheets, and handle patients within the office. Serve as the HIPAA coordinator, liaison between physician(s) and insurance companies, Finance, Human Resources, attorneys, third party administrators, and other key contacts.

Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required
X Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related field X Preferred

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare environment supporting one or more Physicians. Demonstrated experience working directly with the Physician as it relates to the operations of the practice. 

Minimum Salary: $16.11

Maximum Salary: $24.17
