The Behavioral Health Adolescent Unit Program Manager assists the Administrator of Behavioral Health in
The oversight and management of the Unit and works closely with the Director of Nursing to
ensure that the clinical staff is well trained and competent to perform their duties according to the highest
standards of quality. The Behavioral Health Program Manager participates in observing, reporting, and
recording of patient behaviors. Responsible for ensuring high quality patient care, including assessment,
psycho-diagnosis, treatment planning, individual, family and group therapies and discharge planning.
Responsibilities also include helping to provide a safe and secure unit environment for all patients and staff in
compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.Must possess effective communication
and interpersonal skills and ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care.Must be able
to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.Must exhibit a professional appearance.Must be at
least 21 years of age, dependable and emotionally stable.Responsible for maintaining personal and
professional growth and development.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·Previous Inpatient Behavioral Health experience
·Previous supervisory experience - Required
EDUCATION:
·Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program preferred
