Livingston Regional Hospital (LRH) is a 114-bed hospital providing a continuum of care covering all aspects of healthcare, from 24-hour emergency services to rehabilitative services on both an impatient and an outpatient basis, a Level II-A neonatal nursery, a 10-bed gero-psych unit and many other services. The Hospital Administrator on Duty (AOD) serves as the senior administrative representative in the hospital during assigned shifts. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of hospital services, providing leadership and oversight, and managing situations that require executive decision-making. The AOD is responsible for coordinating staff activities, addressing patient and family concerns, and monitoring the quality of care and patient safety.
Essential Functions
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
Licenses/Certification:
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications are required. De-escalation training required.
Minimumsix months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting required.
